Teledermatology Company Adds Dr. Clay Cockerell to Medical Advisory Board

An internationally recognized pioneer in his field and a board certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist; he has been practicing medicine since 1986. He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Director of the Division of Dermatopathology. He is the author of over 750 publications, including a number of books.

Dr. Cockerell has held numerous national leadership positions in highly regarded medical associations and is a Past President of the Texas Dermatological Society, and the Dallas Dermatological Society among others. He has served on many editorial boards of medical journals as well as the boards of directors for a number of companies including Ameripath. A tireless advocate and trailblazer in the study and treatment of all skin conditions, he has also lectured extensively around the world and is the director of several educational seminars and conferences.
He joins Dr. Neil Shah and Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi on MyDerm Portal’s Medical Advisory Board.
