Hixny, which provides progressive population health solutions to the Capital Region, Northern New York and the Mohawk Valley, has named Taiymoor Naqi to the newly-created position of Privacy and Security Officer.
Naqi’s responsibilities will focus on reviewing and, in some cases, establishing new security protocols for the organization. He will be working closely with Hixny’s operations, account services and technology teams to recommend and improve processes which will increase security and decrease potential risk. Naqi holds both a law degree and an MBA in business administration.

Hixny currently serves more than 975 participating locations, including hospitals, physician practices, nursing homes, clinics and pharmacists, and more than 1.6 million patients in a 19 county region bordering Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and Canada. It is one of eight Qualified Entities that link to the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY). Naqi joins Hixny from CareCentrix, a third-party administrator in Hartford, Connecticut. While at CareCentrix, Naqi directly managed a large network of healthcare providers for various payers. Immediately prior to that, he was an Operations Manager/Project Manager for Premier Health, a six-hospital, integrated health care system in southwestern Ohio.
