ShowMeCon Brings Industry-Recognized Speakers to St. Louis

Kennedy’s talk highlights the gap between defense and offense and how changes in the industry, regarding the understanding of both offense and defense, is imperative to building a much better tomorrow. He will also showcase the latest offensive techniques via live demonstrations as well as some of the best methods for defense, offense and detection.
Kennedy is one of twenty-three speakers scheduled to take the stage at ShowMeCon. Other industry-recognized speakers include the co-host of ShowMeCon, Parameter Security’s very own Dave Chronister who is featured regularly on national media discussing hacking and current attacks. Chronister’s presentation reveals the psychology of social engineering. He will debunk the myth that social engineering works because people are stupid and explore why it’s successful, techniques used, and ways to defend against it.
