What’s New with Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County
New Name – In February 2016, our Board of Directors voted unanimously to change our corporate name from Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau to Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. The change puts our organization in the company of more than 90 destination marketing organizations across the country and clarifies our mission to the consumer.
Newly Redesigned Website – Thanks to the May 2016 launch of Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County’s (VAAAC) redesigned, mobile device-friendly websites, individuals seeking comprehensive information about things to do and see in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County have immediate, 24/7 access to the information they need on their desktops, tablets and mobile phones. The redesigned VisitAnnapolis.org, WeddingsInAnnapolis.com and TheHotelsAtBWI.com websites speak to a world on the move. The sites introduce three new microsites that address the wants and desires of three distinct groups of travelers. FoodieAnnapolis.com, HistorianAnnapolis.com and ExplorerAnnapolis.com provide insider recommendations and insights on how best to experience Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
