New Executive Team at Bio-Optronics as Company Growth Accelerates
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) May 23, 2016 -- Bio-Optronics, Inc. is delighted to announce recent additions to the company’s top management team to meet the needs of its recent and anticipated growth.
Max Elbaz was appointed as Vice President, Sales and Marketing to drive continued growth and business development across widening market segments. Max joined the Bio-Optronics team in March. His areas of expertise include international business development, operations, sales and marketing. Previously, Max was the President of Teledyne Optech, Inc., and held executive positions at Geospatial Systems and Earthdata International.
Sylvie Pommier was appointed as Vice President, Europe. The company has established a growing footprint in Europe in recent years. Sylvie will ensure Bio-Optronics is positioned to take advantage of expanding market opportunities there. She came to Bio-Optronics in April from GE Healthcare, where she held senior leadership positions in services, manufacturing and quality. She has a strong track record of customer satisfaction improvement, growth, project management and team leadership.
Steve Bailey was appointed as Vice President, Clinical Research Systems. Following sustained double-digit growth in Clinical Trial Management Systems, Steve will lead a vertically integrated team including product engineering, customer services and quality. He came to Bio-Optronics in May after being the Group Director of Systems, Research and Development at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, bringing with him a long track record of delivering complex, high quality systems products in healthcare IT, communications, and defense.
Judy Kerpelman, MD has joined as Chief Medical Officer in addition to joining the Clinical Research Systems team as strategic account project manager. As CMO, Judy will ensure that our medical and research clients are understood and their needs are effectively reflected in our solutions. Judy also joined in May after previously working in a large private practice as an Ob-Gyn physician/partner. She has held many leadership positions including Clinical Associate Chief of the department of Ob-Gyn at Rochester General Hospital and served as Major in the US Air Force.
Each of the new members of the executive team bring over 20 years of experience in their respective fields, providing diverse perspectives and ideas, while growing the experience base of the company management.
