Restomod Air ® lead art director and designer Rob Bingham says the Restomod Air Atmosphere app is “The future of After-market A/C.” Ever since it’s release the demand has been greater than anyone thought.
The Atmosphere Application was developed to control your climate control system because of response to builders who complained that the controls on the dash cluttered the overall appearance of the dashboards. “Restomod Air will always stay true to our iconic products, while continuing to introduce innovations that address the current challenges of today’s custom car builds,” said Stephen Sexton, head of product engineering at Restomod Air ®.
The Atmosphere Application has an appearance screen that allows the Restomod Air ® customer to change the color of all the icons to match their vehicles interior via a color wheel. The Atmosphere Application also has two interfaces to choose from. There is a traditional interface with icons that are currently vehicle standards and the Atmosphere Application has a futuristic interface that the customer can pick from. Atmosphere Application gives multiple user preset settings to control functions of the Restomod Air ® A/C system. Customers can set temperature, fan intensity, and which vents they prefer when launching the app.
Atmosphere Application, by Restomod Air ® has self-diagnostic feature that eases troubleshooting. The customer can press the diagnostics icon and the Restomod Air ® system will determine what the problem is on screen. The Atmosphere Application will also gather an error code and inform a Restomod Air technician of the problem via email if the customer chooses.
The goal of President & GM Mike Rejkowski of Restomod Air ® is to confront the historical limitations of the hot rod/custom air conditioning markets with style that has never been seen before. Style is not the only game changer in his vision but "tackling the sub par cooling performance known to the hot rod market needs to change” says Mike. Simple gestures like tapping or swiping send a wireless signal to the Drivers mobile Air Conditioning system to change mode positions such as Floor or Defrost and changing temperature settings.
