InVision was named a Leader in the report, receiving strong customer satisfaction scores with a large market presence.
Sketch, Axure RP, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, and Lucidchart were named High Performers in the report, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. InVision and Sketch tied for the highest overall satisfaction score, while InVision earned the highest overall market presence score.
The Grid leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.
•Collaboration is key – Users frequently commented on the benefits of remote communication and team collaboration features. Seven of the ten products received compliments for possessing these capabilities, while one product was condemned for lacking communication tools.
•Range of capabilities – While many products were geared towards creating simple wireframes, users of nearly every product asked for more features to create dynamic and responsive designs.
•Interface is important – Designers were often critical of each wireframing product’s user interface. They often demanded a visually appealing environment to conduct their designs.
