Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Attorney Appointed to Colorado 17th Judicial District
DENVER, Colo. (PRWEB) May 24, 2016 -- Jaclyn Casey Brown, partner in the Denver office of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, was appointed district court judge in the 17th Judicial District by Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper. The appointment is effective July 1, 2016.
Brown is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group, where her practice emphasizes commercial and complex civil litigation involving business entities of various sizes. Her experience includes litigation in a wide range of substantive areas including real estate and construction matters, eminent domain, contractual disputes and insurance.

The Colorado 17th Judicial District includes Adams and Broomfield counties. Brown will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge C. Scott Crabtree.
Brown joined Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie in 2005. She is a graduate of the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and the University of Colorado at Boulder. Among other distinctions, she has been recognized in the Denver Business Journal’s "Forty Under 40," Law Week Colorado Lawyer of the Year, and Young Lawyer of the Year by the Denver Bar Association.
She has been active in many professional and community organizations, including the Denver and Colorado Women's Bar Associations, Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training Program (COBALT), Faculty of Federal Advocates, Colorado Bar Foundation, Colorado Business Committee for the Arts Leadership Arts Program, Curious Theatre Company, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Denver.
