ATLANTA (PRWEB) May 26, 2016
Worldpay US has been named the Judges and Customer Choice for Best Payment Service Provider (PSP) at the 2016 CardNotPresent.com Expo Awards Ceremony, which took place in Orlando this week. These are Worldpay’s fourth and fifth wins in four years at the CNP Expo.
The Best PSP award recognizes the company whose PSP model provides e-commerce and m-commerce merchants with the best merchant services and payment processing. Worldpay was specifically highlighted for its ability to support virtually any CNP merchant with one of the largest offerings of payment currencies and types, platform certifications and proprietary gateway options.
“It’s an honor to be recognized as a premier payment service provider for four consecutive years, especially considering the dynamic disruption shaping our industry as complex consumer preferences shift increasingly to mobile and multi-channel,” said Worldpay US Chief Marketing Officer Sarah Arvin. “As leaders in modern money, we are simplifying payments so businesses can accept transactions from anywhere – and in any way – their customers want.”
Previously, Worldpay has taken home accolades in Best CNP Program Outside the U.S. (Judges Choice, 2014), Best Payment Service Provider (Judges Choice, 2014) and Best Alternative Payment Solution (Judges Choice, 2013). SecureNet, a Worldpay company, also earned Customer Choice for Best Processor in 2015.
“As card-not-present payments become increasingly integrated into mobile and omnichannel strategies, the complexity has opened the door even wider for bad actors seeking to steal personal information from consumers and leverage it for fraud,” said Steve Casco, founder of CardNotPresent.com and the CNP Expo. “Our new categories this year — and the number of companies that entered in those categories — reflect the response of an entire industry to the threats facing CNP merchants. The CNP Awards continue to represent the very best the world has to offer supporting card-not-present payments."
