Pioneer Technology Group, LLC has just hosted its tenth User Group meeting, PioCon 2016. All five of Pioneer’s major products were on display, along with a showing from subsidiary company Pioneer Records Management. Users from all over the country gathered at The Westin Hotel in Lake Mary for instructional sessions, news on upcoming features, and most importantly, social networking events. The conference lasted for four days, from May 23 - 26, and had the largest turnout of any Pioneer User Group meeting in history.
Convention rooms for all different products provided tutorials and round-table discussions. Two-way conversations gave users a direct link to developers, allowing customers to shape the way the software will grow and change. At the end of sessions, guests were provided with evaluation forms to help provide constructive feedback on programs and presentations. “Just wanted to relay my gratitude that the various entities are interested enough in their current clients to provide the atmosphere of warm, involved communication of their products. The staff is well versed and helpful. The whole event showed a commitment to keep engaged with their customer base,” said one user.
Pioneer would like to thank all of their participating vendor partners for helping to make the event such a great success. In particular, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens enthusiastically provided their grounds and staff for a dance and costume contest on the night of the 24th. Pioneer guests were treated to dinner and an educational guest appearance from a serval named Bosco!
“These events are entertaining and informative for both us and our customers,” said President Steve Rumsey. “We look forward to an even larger turnout next year.” The Pioneer Family continues to grow, and it has been a thrill to see User Group expand from its humble origins to a four-day convention visited by users from all over the country.
