McCarthy Brings Channel Expertise, M&A Insight and Enterprise Sales and Operational Experience to Channel Marketing and Management Leader

Zift Solutions, a leading provider of Channel Marketing and Management (CMM) solutions, today announced that it has added Bill McCarthy to its Board of Directors. McCarthy brings a wealth of channel expertise, enterprise sales operational experience, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insight to the Zift Solutions Board.

McCarthy is currently a Vice President in Cisco’s Global Service Provider organization, where his responsibilities have encompassed an array of focus areas, including mobility, cable, public cloud, social media, gaming as well as media and broadcasting. Prior to Cisco, McCarthy held executive roles at Inktomi, CoSine and Anixter, which was sold to Ameritech in 1999. He served as Advisory Board Chairman for Digitalsmiths, a video search and recommendation company that was sold to Tivo in 2014, and mDialog, which Google purchased in 2014 for its ability to enable linear, live and on-demand ad insertion across connected devices. McCarthy is also an active Board Member for Bull City Venture Partners and Iron Academy, as well as Cisco’s Executive Sponsor for North Carolina State University.

Zift has a strong Board of Directors and has demonstrated impressive growth in the past few years, including a 74 percent increase in revenue in 2015, $14M in Series B Funding, and their latest acquisition of the SharedVue division of the Channel Company.
