"Behind the Scenes" with James Earl Jones to produce a new segment on Industrial Recycling for Public Television
(PRWEB) June 01, 2016 -- Industrial recycling will be the subject of an upcoming Behind the Scenes with James Earl Jones (The Sandlot, Star Wars). The segment will feature interviews with recycling experts, as well as environmentalists to talk about the issues involved.
Industries use a tremendous amount of materials in making their products, and they have a lot of materials left over, or not used. Recycling those is great for the environment, and doing that has become a large industry in itself. There is solid waste, paper, wood products, chemicals, and even electronics that need to be recycled. There are also special wastes, or perhaps byproducts that a company might need to recycle.
Recycling is good for the environment in many ways. It saves raw materials that never have to be used, and it keeps landfills from filling up too fast. The recycling industry itself is still creating itself, and is constantly finding new methods to protect the environment.
Behind the Scenes is produced for and distributed on Public Television. It is not on PBS, who is a dedicated content distributor. It is given to Public Television stations around the nation, who air it when it fits into their schedule. The show is held to high technical standards by an award winning group of writers and producers.
