Gilbane Completes Wa She Shu Casino Project in Nevada
Gardnerville, NV (PRWEB) June 01, 2016 -- Gilbane Building Company, a global leader in construction services, is happy to announce that construction has been completed on the Wa She Shu Casino Project in Gardnerville, Nevada. The casino was officially opened on May 26, 2016 and sits beside the recently opened Washoe Travel Plaza, which was another Gilbane project for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California that was opened in February.
The Casino project consists of approximately 14,530 square feet of space and includes the gaming floor, back of house facilities, restaurant and bar, loading dock and receiving area, and kitchen space for food preparation. The gaming floor sports 130 gaming machines, with a capacity to hold an additional 50 machines. A future expansion is planned to the north end of the casino, which would increase the size of the gaming floor.
“From being three weeks behind at New Year's to finishing the Project two weeks early, this did not come without hard work and perseverance, especially through the heart of a relatively good winter season for Northern Nevada,” says Kurt Parriott, Project Manager, Gilbane Building Company, “We are honored to have been an integral part in making this project a success for both the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, and the Poarch Band of Creek Indians of Atmore, Alabama.” The casino is the fourth Indian Casino in the State of Nevada and is the first for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.
