The annual meeting of the Colorado Exclusive Buyers Agents Association held in Boulder Colorado on June 1st will uncover the best strategies for real estate buyers to succeed in Colorado's current seller's market. The association is comprised of Colorado licensed real estate buyers agents who specialize in only the buyer's side of a real estate transaction.

People who want to buy a home in Colorado face tough problems. In Denver's under-$350,000 market there may be twenty or thirty offers on homes for sale. The meeting will explore what buyers agents can do for their clients if the appraisal comes in below the negotiated price. An offer accepted by the seller may be thousands of dollars over the home's appraised value. Buyers agents at the meeting will learn the best strategies for handling this situation on behalf of their buyer clients. An active Colorado appraiser will also update the members on current requirements and protocols.

The afternoon session will have a presentation by one of the state's top listing professionals. This seller agent will share some of the strategies he uses get the best offer for his home sellers. The association's buyer's agents will use this information to develop counter-strategies for buyers.

Chris Eby, president of the Colorado Exclusive Buyer Agents Association says, "Our members are 100% dedicated to getting the right house and the best deal for our buyer clients. We will use the education we receive at this meeting to increase the chance that our client's offer will be accepted by the seller, especially when there are multiple offers. Throughout the year, the association works on the best strategies to their help Colorado real estate buyer clients. This past year, the group paid a highly respected law firm to help them come up with additional clauses to add to the offer to purchase. These attorney-approved clauses are put into offers to further protect buyers and give them advantages in negotiations. The new clauses will be reviewed by the attendees at the annual meeting.
