Board Members Will Advise On Technology and Corporate Operations

PK4 Media, a technology-driven media company, has announced the addition of two new members to their advisory board, Jimi Smoot and Scott P. Barlow.

Smoot joins the PK4 Media Advisory Board with a wealth of knowledge in digital technology. He’s the founder of product studio, Octavius Labs whose mission is building productivity and marketing SaaS products, with their flagship product being Vesper. Vesper is an assistant that manages the schedules of investors and entrepreneurs nationwide. Smoot is a familiar face to the PK4 Media team, having served as Vice President of Product & Technology for two years where he rebuilt the engineering team and most of the company's technology before leaving to start Octavius.

Barlow brings more than 20 years of legal experience and 15 years of counsel and secretary experience serving the Board of Directors of publicly-traded companies. Barlow’s main role on the PK4 Media Advisory Board will be to advise in corporate operations.

For 15 years, Barlow served as the Executive Vice President & General Counsel with Conversant, Inc., negotiating more than 14 mergers and acquisitions which eventually led to the company’s $2.3 billion acquisition by Alliance Data Systems Corporation in December of 2014. Prior to that he was Vice President & General Counsel with Mediaplex, Inc. and helped lead Mediaplex’s IPO process in 1999. Barlow currently serves on a variety of technology start-up Boards and Advisory Boards.
