ZST enables pioneering imaging developments such as Advanced Acoustic Acquisition™, a software acquisition technique that breaks with traditional line-by-line imaging and instead uses large zones to acquire 90 percent more echo data at speeds of up to 10 times faster than conventional systems. The results are crystal clear images with exceptional temporal accuracy bringing diagnostic confidence to all imaging challenges.

ZST also drives Dynamic Pixel Focusing™ where, automatically, every pixel is optimally focused in every frame, at every depth and every time. No other technology eliminates manual focal zones and reveals structural clarity from the skin line to depths of up to 40 centimeters (cm), whether the smallest of neonates or the largest of bariatric pediatric patients.

“Our transducers, such as the C10-3, L20-5, C9-3 and L14-5w, can be used throughout the pediatric body habitus,” said McLaughlin. “Combined with our next generation ZST and CEUS, liver and echo imaging are particularly suitable for pediatric intensive and critical care settings.
