Penton's Waste360 recognizes Pennsylvania business owner in the first 40 Under 40 awards program, which consists of the next generation of leaders in the waste and recycling space who are shaping the future of the industry.

Brion Maguire, owner and managing partner of Trucks & Parts of Pennsylvania, is a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award by Penton’s Waste360, the leading information, event, commerce and education provider to the solid waste, recycling, organics and sustainable communities. The Waste360 40 Under 40 awards program, unveiled this year, recognizes inspiring and innovative professionals under the age of 40 whose work in the waste, recycling and organics industry has made a significant contribution.

Maguire has spent 17 years in the Waste and Recycling Industry and is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable people regarding waste collection trucks, product application and route efficiencies. Maguire is also considered an authority on Federal and State regulations as well as the government mandated truck emission programs.

“I’ve always seen myself as a strategic partner, one who can offer new, and better solutions to help my customer manage and make better decisions with their fleet purchases as well as their surplus liquidations,” Maguire said. “Managing fleet purchases is critically important to a company’s growth strategy – and that is where I can make a difference.”

Maguire has maintained a leading role in the National Waste and Recycling Association as a contributor and sponsor within the local chapters and at the national level with the Statistics Program and the Future Industry Leaders Alliance. He is also a supportive member of Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) and has been an active contributor to the organization's committees.
