SierraCRM to Showcase Process Manager 4.0 Workflow Module Release at SugarCon 2016
Grass Valley, California (PRWEB) June 13, 2016 -- SierraCRM announces the 4.0 release of Process Manager, an integrated workflow module for Sugar. This release enables businesses to take the customer perspective helping companies deliver communications, products and services designed for THEM. Process Manager empowers the individual, coordinating the actions of customer-facing employees and equipping them with the right information at the right time to transform the customer experience. The company will debut Process Manager at SugarCon, SugarCRM’s annual conference, June 13-16, 2016.
Core to the new version is the ability for Sugar Professional customers to auto-convert their legacy workflows to processes in Process Manager. In addition, multiple cancel conditions can be set to stop a running process. Enhancements to the powerful drag and drop wizard-like process builder are included in this release. These new features, along with the simple, easy-to-use interface, enable all users to create their own processes tailored to their unique way of providing outstanding sales and service to their customers.
Version 4.0’s new functionality and enhancements include:
Convert Legacy Workflow: The embedded workflow found in Sugar Professional, commonly called “Legacy Workflow”, will be removed and not replaced in 2016. Existing customers of Sugar who have 100’s of workflows built will not have to recreate these in Process Manager. An auto-convert tool will convert legacy workflow to Processes in Process Manager 4.0.
Enhanced Email Functionality: Process Manager 4.0 now supports all the features found in Legacy Workflow including, sending emails to current and past record owners, choosing which email addresses are on the TO, CC and BCC list, and sending Emails to all members of a Sugar Team and / or Role.
The recently released Version 4.0 enhancements, also to be showcased at SugarCon, include:
Refined Process Builder: Collapsible panels when opening a large process enable the users to easily navigate to the area of Process Manager that needs review or editing.
Updating records from related records: This new feature enables data from a related record to be copied to another related record. As an example, customers often need for an Accounts Case Notes to be copied to the Accounts related Contacts notes.
Multiple Cancel Conditions: A running process can be canceled in multiple ways with this new feature. A common process for companies is to send multiple emails to new leads over the course of many days. Companies need to be able to stop sending these emails if the lead is deleted, converted, status changed, or ownership change.
