Nordic Naturals Teams Up with Carter's Kids

Nordic Naturals and Carter’s Kids share a commitment to the health and well-being of children.

Nordic Naturals announces its 2016 back-to-school promotion—“Buy a Bottle. Help Us Build a Playground!”—to benefit Carter’s Kids, a non-profit organization founded by TV personality Carter Oosterhouse. Carter’s Kids promotes fitness by building playgrounds in areas in need throughout the USA. From July 1 through September 30, when consumers purchase Nordic Naturals children’s products, a portion of their purchase will go toward the exciting work of Carter’s Kids. A total contribution of $75,000 is targeted in order to fund a new playground at Webster Elementary School in Long Beach, CA.

“Just 60 minutes of play daily has been shown to provide a variety of health benefits, and yet children often don’t achieve that,” Oosterhouse said. “Too much screen time, shorter school recesses, overly structured schedules, and a lack of safe spaces to play all contribute to inadequate play and recreation.”

In response, Nordic Naturals is taking action with their “Buy a Bottle. Help Us Build a Playground!” campaign to elevate awareness and raise funds for Carter’s Kids.

“We’re very excited about this initiative,” Oosterhouse said. “Thanks to Nordic Naturals and their customers, a whole community of children will experience the power of play.”

Carter's Kids is a non-profit organization founded by television personality Carter Oosterhouse.
