CCS, a global leader in strategic fundraising, today announced that Robert Kissane has been named chairman of the board of directors and that Jon Kane has joined CCS as president and member of the board of directors. Both appointments are aimed at guiding the firm’s direction in 2016 and beyond, and are effective immediately.

Kissane, who joined CCS in 1979 and has been a partner of the firm for nearly 30 years, is taking on a broad portfolio of responsibilities that reflect his deep understanding of the firm and philanthropy. As chairman, he will engage with the rest of the board on strategic issues, campaign innovation and thought leadership, and will continue to cultivate and guide many of the firm’s valuable relationships.
Jon Kane is a seasoned executive who joins CCS with over 25 years of broad-reaching business, management and strategic consulting experience. He will assume leadership of the firm, including strategic and long-term planning, as well as day-to-day management of CCS. Jon’s career began at McKinsey & Company and has included time at Goldman Sachs and Warburg Pincus, as well as many years advising companies in the private sector. He has been a trusted advisor to CCS for nearly four years and has worked closely with its board on a range of important operational and strategic matters. Through his philanthropic involvements, Jon has likewise been a client of CCS.
