Whittl and Yelp Enter Into a Yelp Transaction Platform Partnership

Whittl has entered into a partnership with Yelp, allowing the millions of people who visit Yelp every day to book services through Whittl.

Whittl, a leading online booking product for salons, spas, barbershops, and other local service businesses will make its merchant inventory available on the Yelp Platform. "Yelp is the undisputed leader in local discovery and reviews. This partnership provides a new and powerful way for merchants using the Whittl product to attract new customers in their neighborhood," said Mike Zivin, CEO at Whittl.

When consumers turn to Yelp to find great businesses in their neighborhood, they view the price menu and book an appointment in real-time directly from a merchant's Yelp page. Whittl's solution is unique in that merchants don't need to offer discounts or replace their underlying scheduling software to get bookings through Yelp. Whittl also supports the large percentage of local service businesses that don't use scheduling software.
