... He is faithful to us, we should desire to imitate his faithfulness

Corey and Natasha Feimster’s new book, Leave Me Alone…But Don’t Leave Me!!!, ($12.99, paperback, 9781498473200; $6.99, e-book, 9781498473217) is a compelling testimony of how God can take a challenged marriage and miraculously transform it – strengthening the love between a husband and wife – and encouraging each of them to love Him more deeply. This book provides a first hand, reality perspective for couples that prioritize basing their marriage on biblical principles while dealing with real issues. The authors stress that the marriage relationship is real. Yet, unlike all other relationships, it provides an unparalleled opportunity for the believer to both appreciate and demonstrate God's patience, long-suffering, grace and love toward their spouse. This brings up an important question. What about sacrifice, sound stewardship, and urgency? Learning to trust God, relax, and develop confidence in oneself and in one other are the first steps toward growth in a marriage. The authors encourage that as couples seek to maximize their potential, they should embrace the challenge of growing in ways they could not grow without their spouse.
“Readers will gain a better perspective of their covenant relationship with God and His command for them to love their spouse as He loves His bride – the church,” states the author. “Why? Because He is faithful to us, we should desire to imitate his faithfulness.”
