Chicago Association of Realtors Names Hasani Steele of RE/MAX Premier Properties Top Multi-Unit Renovator at Its 2016 Good Neighbor Awards
Chicago, Ill (PRWEB) June 08, 2016 -- Real estate entrepreneur and broker Hasani Steele of RE/MAX Premier Properties, Chicago, was recognized as the Top Renovator, Residential Multi-Unit Renovation, at the Chicago Association of Realtors 2016 Good Neighbor Awards ceremony on May 19. Six projects in which Steele was involved last year were named winners of Good Neighbor Awards.
Those six projects, all in Chicago, were at 1806 S. Throop St., 4456 S. Berkeley Ave., 4332 S. Champlain Ave., 1528 N. Washtenaw Ave., 463 E. 41st St., and 627 E. 41st St.
The Top Renovator Award reflects superior rebuilding efforts and takes into consideration a range of other factors, such as residential design and the impact of the project on community development, according to Kelly Mead, chair of the 2016 award ceremony.
“I was really honored and humbled to receive the Top Renovator Award at this point in my career,” said Steele, whose Steele Consulting Group offers a wide range of consulting services from conception, design, and construction to marketing, presales, and delivery.
The team won the lion’s share of the Good Neighbor Awards in the multi-unit residential category, and has a strong track record of developing vacant land and dilapidated buildings into market-leading properties.
Steele pointed to 1806 S. Throop St., a Good Neighbor Award winner this year, as a trailblazer in the real estate market of Chicago’s Pilsen community.
“The appraisers didn’t understand the value, but buyers felt it was worth it. They like our brand of integrity, innovative design and quality construction,” Steele said. “That’s how we help create a market turnaround. These trailblazing projects give other developers the courage to say, ‘If they can do it with Steele Consulting, then we can too!’ ”
Over the last five years, Steele Consulting has been involved in 35 projects that captured Good Neighbor Awards. Earlier this year, RE/MAX awarded Steele the Lifetime Achievement Award for consistent, outstanding success in marketing and sales.
“It all reflects the hard work of the members of my team. Everyone at SCG puts in a lot of effort and believes in my vision. The extra efforts made in perfecting our designs sets us apart,” Steele said.
The Good Neighbor Awards program, established in 1992, recognizes ground-breaking rehabs and new developments throughout the nine-county Chicago areas that contribute to serving local community needs, enhancing economic vitality and bolstering civic pride.
