Location Continues Mission to Make Quality Health Care Accessible and Economical

For the past three years, Doctors Express of Beaufort has been part of the American Family Care (AFC), a network of more than 160 independently owned urgent care clinics across the U.S. To take full advantage of the benefits that being part of this world-class network offers, Doctors Express of Beaufort is rebranding its medical center as American Family Care (AFC). Located at 272 Robert Smalls Parkway, the clinic started treating patients in December 2010.

“Despite the fact you will see new AFC signage at our clinic, very little will change—you will still be greeted by the same great staff, treated by the same experienced doctors, and all of the same insurance plans will be accepted, said Danny Robinson, long-time Beaufort resident and owner of the clinic. “We’re excited to continue serving our community by providing quality health care to new and existing patients, with no appointment necessary and extended hours seven days a week.”

The clinic will celebrate its grand reopening with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Beaufort Mayor Bill Keyserling and other local area VIPs are expected to attend the grand reopening and take part in the ribbon cutting. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the clinic, meet the staff and receive complimentary gift bags—including sunscreen and hand sanitizer.

Over the past 33 years, AFC has pioneered the concept of non-emergency room urgent care and expanded its footprint to more than 26 states. All AFC clinics are designed, equipped and staffed to provide accessible primary care, urgent care and minor emergency treatment. By being part of the AFC network, clinics adhere to established standards of practice that ensure the highest quality of care possible for their patients. Indeed, many people consider AFC as the ultimate “seal of approval” for quality healthcare.
