Visit Santa Rosa Introduces a Fresh New Website and Relaunches Tourism Brand
Santa Rosa, Calif. (PRWEB) June 08, 2016 -- Visit Santa Rosa launched a new website and a new logo this week in a fresh update to the tourism brand’s identity. The new brand celebrates Santa Rosa as a happening central hub for exploration of Sonoma County’s bounty, focusing on craft beer, wine and spirits; local culinary delights; outdoor recreation; family fun; and arts and entertainment. The new website is a resource to attract visitors to Santa Rosa.
"Our new look is contemporary, hip, and down-to-earth, which perfectly captures Santa Rosa’s essence,” said Visit Santa Rosa’s Executive Director Brad Calkins. “We relish every chance to help travelers discover our city’s beauty and its quirks, because Santa Rosa truly has something to wow every visitor -- from locavores to nature fanatics to the ultimate beer lovers and more," said Calkins.
The brand relaunch is timed to coincide with this year’s introduction of three new destinations offering direct daily flights to Santa Rosa’s Charles M. Schultz Airport , from Orange County, Calif.; Phoenix, AZ; and Las Vegas, NV.
“We are excited about the launch of our new brand and website. It is allowing us to bring the authentic experience of all that Santa Rosa has to offer directly to our visitors,” said Sally Shaffer, General Manager of the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country.
Visit Santa Rosa’s new website promotes local businesses through direct spotlights and by encouraging travel to the area. Tourism is one of Sonoma County’s most vital industries, accounting for 19,350 industry jobs in 2014, according to the region’s 2015 Annual Tourism Report. “Sonoma County’s tourism industry is maintaining a strong expansion. This marks the continuation of four years of growth in which tourism has outpaced the rest of the economy,” writes Ben Stone, executive director of the Sonoma County Economic Development Board.
Foregrounded on the new site is photography of the region, enticing visitors instantly with vibrant colors and a relaxed, earthy feel. Upcoming events are spotlighted on the main page. As guests to the site dig deeper, they’ll find a seasonally-updated list of “30 Things to Do in and around Santa Rosa.”
