Mike has a strong background in the global travel business, most recently serving as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Carlson Inc. Prior to that, Mike was with Marriott International, Inc. for 14 years in various senior legal positions, culminating as senior vice president and deputy general counsel of Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation. At both companies, he was involved in developing corporate strategy and led geographically diverse teams with lawyers in North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Marriott in 1999, Mike practiced law at two Florida firms and served as a law clerk in Florida’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court.
