Our shared mission to improve legal training and professional development is of great importance to our member firms and to their clients.
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) June 07, 2016
Lex Mundi, the world’s leading network of independent law firms, and Hotshot, a startup bringing modern learning to the legal industry, are pleased to announce a joint collaboration to complement and strengthen professional development and training initiatives at Lex Mundi member firms.
Through the collaboration Hotshot will provide all Lex Mundi member firms and their lawyers access to short, practical videos and related training materials. The first topic available through the collaboration covers the basics of M&A practice. Other topics will include venture financing and accounting and finance for lawyers.
Ian Nelson, Co-Founder of Hotshot said, "People watch short videos to learn almost anything, exactly when they need to learn it. We think it’s time that this applied to the legal industry, and we started Hotshot to help lawyers learn in more innovative and effective ways. We are honored to work with Lex Mundi to support the training initiatives of its 160 member firms in over 100 countries around the world.”
Carl Anduri, President of the Lex Mundi, said, “We are very excited to collaborate with Hotshot. Our shared mission to improve legal training and professional development is of great importance to our member firms and to their clients. With the Hotshot online platform, Lex Mundi member firms around the world can take advantage of this unique, cutting-edge training.”
Launched in November 2015, Hotshot delivers short, practical videos and related materials (interactive quizzes, outlines and training exercises) covering legal and professional skills. Videos are highly engaging and include a blend of presenters, document walkthroughs and animations. Learn more about Hotshot at http://www.hotshotlegal.com.
