As a board member, she drafted and passed significant legislation related to technology, environment, economic development, human rights, and labor, including the groundbreaking Equal Benefits Ordinance. She was also an elected member of the San Francisco Community College Board of Trustees and has served on the Port Commission of San Francisco.

She helps her clients reach their goals by providing linkages that optimize the political, legal, community, and business context in which they operate. Her ability to provide strategic counsel, for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies and public entities, comes from her diverse experiences in the public and private sectors.
