Leeyo Software, the market-leading provider of revenue automation solutions, today announced its inaugural Revenue Recognition Summit will take place August 18-19, 2016, at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront, as industry actions spike interest in preparing for and implementing the new revenue recognition guidance. Attendees will gain insight into best practices in revenue recognition from leading enterprises and explore industry issues, trends and current challenges.

Alexandra Buldrini, Vice President of Revenue Recognition at Salesforce, will focus in her keynote address on the overall revenue process at large transaction-rich organizations. Buldrini has helped lead the charge in developing a thorough understanding and incorporation of the guiding accounting principles at the enterprise cloud computing giant, the latest effort squarely zeroed in on ASC 606, the new revenue recognition guidelines. In its stature as the world’s sixth largest enterprise software company, Salesforce has consistently taken a leadership role in determination of these guidelines and best practices within the technology sector. Prior to joining Salesforce, Buldrini served in a senior management role in audit and risk advice services at KPMG.

Brian Lillie, Chief Information Officer at Equinix, is scheduled to share his insights in an additional keynote session on financial systems in the revenue process. Lillie has dedicated himself to building business value through innovative product development and information technology practices at the data center juggernaut in addition to driving several global initiatives including their quote-to-cash systems and enterprise resource planning. A veteran of VeriSign. SGI and the U.S. Air Force, Lillie has been candid on the evolution of IT architecture and the business changes evolving in parallel.

These presenters are in addition to an impressive lineup of speakers and sponsors over the two-day program including representatives from the Big Four accounting agencies (Pricewaterhousecoopers, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and Deloitte).

Revenue Recognition Summit sessions, expected to number more than 20, will include:

  • ASC 606 guidance and transition methods from Big 4 accounting firms
  • Industry trends and best practices for those who have implemented multiple projects
  • Interactive discussions of tips and tricks to help maximize productivity
  • Hands-on training classes presented by the Leeyo Education Team
  • Robust case studies presented by global customers in a variety of industries
  • Networking opportunities with peers to share insights, and engage with Leeyo product and consulting experts

As interest continues to heat up in conjunction with ASC 606, “Revenue from Contracts with Customers,” the newly converged revenue guidance announced by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), this event is sure to help address complex business needs for the industry as a whole and in support of the latest version of RevPro, released last year in full compliance with the new guidance.

Registraion is now open online at Leeyo.com/summit, with an early bird price of $499 until June 30th, 2016 (discounted from the full price of $799).
