New Workplace Communication Training Helps Employees with “What To Say When”
Novi, Michigan (PRWEB) June 14, 2016 -- Being able to communicate clearly and effectively in the workplace is a vital skill, for both employees and managers. The way we present our ideas and opinions effects the way people receive them, accordingly MasteryTCN™ has published the “What to Say When” series on workplace communication, originally produced by Telephone Doctor.
The thirty vignette-style courses in this series present common workplace communication dilemmas, and demonstrate the right and wrong way to handle each situation. Human resource expert, Hugh Murray, narrates the series and provides best practices to prepare employees with the communication strategies and tactics to effectively communicate with their peers and superiors.
The series covers issues related to taking on new responsibilities, seeking help from co-workers, making ethical decisions, setting goals with one’s boss, and resolving conflicts with co-workers. About half of the vignettes are focused on topics relevant to managers, such as taking lead of a new team, setting objectives and goals for employees, dealing with conflict between team members, and providing feedback and recognition.
The thirty vignettes are available as individual courses; two collections comprised of the thirty vignettes have also been published. An employee collection contains 16 of the 30 lessons, and a manager collection, contains the remaining 14 lessons. This allows organizations the flexibility in using the courses as a series, or individually to meet specific needs. These courses can be used to prepare employees with communication strategies before an issue arises, or to help remediate a situation currently going on.
All of these courses are published on MasteryTCN’s courseware platform, which provides a standard learning experience for employees training across topics on MasteryTCN courses. All of the courses in the series feature HD video and conclude with a learning assessment to ensure comprehension of key points. The courses also include downloadable documents to help you remember the communication strategy for each topic.
