Convo, the leading enterprise-mobile messaging and collaboration platform, today announced support for Siri and 3D touch. Adding to the list of many other firsts in Enterprise mobile, Convo will enable users to use voice command to set important reminders.

Faizan Buzdar (CEO, Convo) added "Just like self driving cars are the future of transportation, AI (artificial intelligence) driven business assistants are a big part of the future of work. The world is rapidly evolving to enable businesses to operate on the go. As Convo becomes the hub of all business communication, we are working on bringing our users their own personal business assistants... their magic genie so to speak, right inside Convo."

"Starting today, Convo users will be able to use Siri to to intelligently process posts, comments and files inside Convo and convert them into reminders. This is just the beginning," added Faizan. "As more APIs become available we are strongly positioned to leverage Siri like no other business app in the market."

Siri+Convo today: Now Convo integrates with Siri to let users set reminders by voice command. Convo enables Siri to recognize what a user wants to be reminded about, even at a granular level. Siri-based reminders can be set on posts, and even on comments, images or files. Reminders are deep linked so they will always take the user back to the exact item they wanted to be reminded about.

Siri+Convo future: Convo plans to enable users to retrieve answers through voice command, even for complex, personalized queries. For example, a Business Manager of a large global retail chain could ask, "Which store is performing the best?" or "Who is attending the business review meeting?". Using data already available inside Convo, Siri would be able to get answers to these questions within seconds.

Convo also released today, support for 3D Touch. While reviewing notifications on Convo, users can press down on a notification to peek to get more context. Users can also press down on a comment in their feed to peek at the previous comments, and press a little harder to pop into the full post.

These announcements by Convo are a step towards re-defining the future of work - and bringing rich user experiences, usually reserved for consumer apps, to the Enterprise.
