MIAMI, Fla. (PRWEB) June 10, 2016 -- Greenberg Traurig Miami shareholders Angelika Hunnefeld and Julissa Rodriguez were recently recognized as Board Certified Specialists by The Florida Bar.
Hunnefeld, a Shareholder in the Miami Litigation and Arbitration Practice, was named a Board Certified Specialist in International Law. Rodriguez, Chair of the Miami Appellate Practice, was recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Law.
Board Certification is the highest level of recognition evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, as well as an attorney’s commitment to professionalism and ethics in practice. At Greenberg Traurig, Hunnefeld focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, international business arbitration and compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). She is experienced in matters involving multi-jurisdictional issues, enforcement of foreign judgments and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.
As Chair of the Miami Appellate Department, Rodriguez focuses her practice on appellate litigation and trial support during all stages of litigation leading up to an appeal, which includes pre-trial motion practice, jury instructions, and post-trial motion practice, as well as advising clients on securing stays of judgments while a case is pending on appeal. She represents clients in both state and federal courts in a variety of areas of the law, including products liability, medical malpractice, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
