CB&A, Arc Capital Development and Academic Business Advisors to Share Expertise at SETDA Emerging Technologies Forum
Madison, Wis. (PRWEB) June 14, 2016 -- SETDA, the principal nonprofit membership association representing U.S. state and territorial educational technology leaders, has selected three leading firms to mentor rising technology companies at the Emerging Technologies Forum. Academic Business Advisors, Arc Capital Development and C. Blohm & Associates (CB&A) will lead a full-day workshop that provides emerging technology providers with marketing and business development expertise to help grow their companies.
The fledgling companies will learn from Mitch Weisburgh of Academic Business Advisors, Kevin Custer and Rita Ferrandino of Arc Capital Development, and Charlene Blohm and Emily Embury of CB&A. Each mentor is an established expert in the education industry, and together they have decades of experience growing successful businesses.
“This year’s cohort will benefit immensely from the knowledge shared by our Channel Partners,” said SETDA Executive Director Tracy Weeks. “At the forum, participants will showcase their companies and receive helpful feedback, while simultaneously gaining deep understanding of the marketplace from some of the most strategic minds in the industry.”
Throughout 2016, the Emerging Private Sector Partners will benefit from a variety of opportunities to learn from the SETDA Channel Partners. These advantages include timely information on state and national education policies, as well as first-hand insights about emerging trends and research practices in the K-12 sector.
SETDA’s annual Emerging Technologies Forum provides a venue for state members and the private sector to engage in meaningful dialogue about topics of importance in digital learning across the nation.
