The lifestyle brand joins the New Town Center neighborhood in Disney Springs.

Free People, the worldwide bohemian-chic women’s clothing brand, will open its newest store on June 17th at Disney Springs, an exciting new waterfront district for world-class shopping, unique dining, and high-quality entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort. At 4,771 square feet, the new venue will be the eighth Free People store in Florida and the brand’s 118th store across the United States and Canada.

“We are thrilled to be opening our new store in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort,” said Beth Wehagen, Director of Retail, Free People. “This store will be a large format store for Free People offering expanded categories across apparel, intimates and accessories. We are so happy to have found a home in the Orlando area and look forward to unveiling this incredible new store.”

Designed around Free People’s bohemian bungalow concept, the Disney Springs store is themed to a global traveler who curates and displays the collections acquired on her journey. True to its concept, the store will offer a full range of fashionable apparel with bold prints and bright colors, as well as Free People’s Endless Summer collection featuring an array of dresses, tops, tunics, and bottoms in lightweight, gauzy fabrics and easy silhouettes perfect for the Florida weather. A wide assortment of dresses will also be available in a variety of silhouettes from maxi, mini, shapeless and rompers. Other items featured in store include Free People tees, graphic tees and a mixed selection of denim – from shorts, one pieces, and classic styles to more than a dozen different shoe styles from FP Collection, the brand’s expansive assortment of women’s footwear. Sunglasses, jewelry, hair products, and accessories will also be available – perfect for a girl on the go. The store will have its very own “Intimately Free People” section featuring lifestyle pieces for lounging.

Each Free People store offers personalized shopping experiences from a team of expert stylists. Free People customers can schedule a one-on-one appointment with their favorite stylist, as well as interact and gain inspiration through the brand’s online Style Community, FP Me.

Customers will be able to enter the store from one of two entrances, and each will have a set of hand-carved teak doors. Interior designs will include a custom cast Free People backlit sign, light maple flooring, and four large skylights filling the space with natural light. There will be hand-carved mirrors accenting the bohemian vibe. Reclaimed window beams in the ceiling will help delineate the different shopping areas. Above the four cash wraps where customers will check out, there will be pretty woven lanterns and white washed bamboo.

To celebrate the store’s opening on June 17, Free People is launching a sweepstakes. Customers can enter for a chance to win $500 worth of Free People products. Enter here: https://www.freepeople.com/disney-springs-opening/
