Corso Releases View Manager, Workspaces and Live Share for Enterprise Architecture SaaS Tool
Birmingham, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 14 June 2016 -- Corso, the leading Enterprise Architecture SaaS tool provider, just announced several new updates aimed to provide EA practitioners with improved modeling, analysis and role-based collaboration.
The latest updates to the Corso Agile EA tool include an innovative new View Manager for easily building multiple different viewpoints of model data, a new Workspaces feature for modeling and comparing alternative EA scenarios, and a new Live Share feature for real-time notifications of active in-tool users.
“The latest updates provide EA teams of all maturity levels with a unique toolset to drive their strategic planning and digital transformation objectives,” explained Martin Owen, CEO at Corso. “Our goal is to build a modern, highly collaborative EA tool that is easy to get started, and at a price point that any organization can afford.”
View Manager allows users to filter a specific set of data and easily produce multiple different views of it. Example views include My Applications, Sales Business Capabilities or Highest Risk Processes. Views can be saved, shared, and even be used to design user roles in the system, simplifying interaction with your EA tool, for all users, across all roles. Views can also be added to your individual Dashboard.
Workspaces make it easier to model alternative future and transient architectures without impacting the baseline enterprise architecture model. By comparing alternative scenarios, organizations can make more-informed investment and transformation decisions by answering “what if” questions.
Live Share allows users to see when another user is currently viewing or editing the same model content (diagram, roadmap, chart, pivot table etc.), aiding closer collaboration between team members and with the wider EA stakeholder community.
Corso Agile EA is the first full-featured, cloud-based enterprise architecture tool available on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis. These latest updates are currently being pushed live to all Corso customers automatically via the cloud, without any interruption to end users.
“As a modern SaaS tool there is zero software to implement or maintain. Users are always running the latest version of the software,” continued Martin Owen.
Corso will be showcasing its EA software tools at the Gartner Enterprise Architecture Summit, London, on 15th and 16th June. For more information visit https://www.corso3.com/gartner-enterprise-architecture-summit-london-2016
