(June 16, 2016, Las Vegas, NV) - FirstService Residential, the leading community management company in Nevada, recently promoted Dan Henein to vice president of client accounting. In his role, he is responsible for the training and management of the client accounting, accounts receivable and payable teams, while ensuring a segregation of duties. Henein will also oversee the execution of association financials, budgets, financial reporting and other accounting operations for the southern and northern Nevada regions.

Prior to this promotion, Henein served as the regional controller for the California branch of FirstService Residential. He has been with the company for over eight years and has 13 years of experience in community association management, serving hundreds of associations in various capacities. Henein graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in finance, is an active member of the Community Association Institute (CAI), and maintains the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA).

“We have an enormous amount of talent within our company on a national level,” said Steven Parker, president of FirstService Residential in Nevada. “As an industry leader, Dan’s extensive experience and knowledge of accounting practices will help us to continue to set the standard for services and solutions provided to homeowners' associations (HOAs).”

FirstService Residential provides accounting as part of its management services and credits part of its success to the ability to segregate duties and keep accounting departments localized. “Segregation of duties requires a depth of resources that not all management companies are able to provide, but is critical to the financial security and proper handling of an association’s funds,” said Parker.
