Vivid Art Agency Experiences a Renaissance, Adding Three Talented Artists
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- New on the art licensing scene in 2015, Vivid Art Agency (http://www.vividartagency.com) founder Sue Einersen started with fine art painter Judith Lynn (http://www.judithlynnart.com) and this year has just added three artists to the agency’s roster. A first-time exhibitor at last year’s Licensing Expo, Judith Lynn’s detailed paintings of whimsical characters - such as a seahorse with a badge, western holster and guns - drew waves of attention.
It has been a truly renaissance year for Vivid Art Agency, which offers strategic planning, product development, and marketing for artistic properties. Since January 2016, Vivid has increased its artist inventory and boutique collections by 300%. Einersen exudes enthusiasm and motivation as she shares, “This growth is truly just the beginning, as we build the Vivid Art legacy. We appeal to fine artists who aren’t afraid of commercial success and are serious about becoming profitable entrepreneurs. These artists represent our greatest potential, which is simply tremendous!”
Recently added to the Vivid Art line-up are Margaret Lucas-Hill, Vicki Visconti-Tilley and Veronica Soto-Hlampeas. The selection process of artists was intense and rigorous, with Einersen considering many artists. Her final decisions took into consideration the artists’ talent as well their broad commercial appeal in a wide variety of product categories, such as stationery, home décor, wall art, and domestics. These artists also have a handmade quality while possessing the ability to work well with manufacturers on the types of changes and file production which are so vital in today’s licensing marketplace.
Margaret Lucas-Hill (http://www.lucashillarts.com) has been painting, designing, and manufacturing happy, quirky, and sophisticated images on gift items and wholesaling them through the trade markets, including AmericasMart in Atlanta and the Las Vegas Gift Market, for more than 15 years. Best known as Lucas-Hill Art & Design in the retail world, Margaret has moved from producing and selling small accessory items, trivets, and coasters to apparel, home décor, and home furnishings. Retailing Insight Magazine recently featured Lucas-Hill’s hand painted silk journals, while LDB Interior Textiles Magazine shared six hand-dyed silk pillows. Her comprehensive portfolio of designs ranges from cute animals, florals, and music to sports themes, all of which lend themselves to individual products, collections, and patterns.
Vicki Visconti-Tilley (http://www.vickiviscontiart.com) is an award winning fine artist of enchanted, faery, and fantasy art. Her awards include the 2005 ARTV Fine Arts Muse Award for Drawing (the “premier academy award for visual artists”), among many others. Her illustrations can be found in many books and magazines, such as Fractured Rhymes, Creative Colored Pencil, and Faerie Magazine. She works in oil paint, pen and ink, watercolor, and colored pencil, and her designs have been licensed in limited editions for music boxes, bags, mugs, journals, books, jigsaw puzzles, decorative art tile, and greeting cards. Her extensive portfolio and breadth of potential product have barely been tapped by licensing.
The third artist to join the Vivid Art Agency is Veronica Soto-Hlampeas (http://www.insomniousnyc.com) whose amazing decorative art is inspired by observations of pop culture, movies, nature, graffiti, antique photographs, vintage advertising, world cultures, tattoos, textiles, and wallpapers. She has been featured in the Astoria (N.Y.) Art Festival and participated in the first RAW Artist Showcase.
Vivid Art Agency (http://www.vividartagency.com) is open to new artists sending their portfolios in for consideration and hopes to add several new artists in the coming year.
