New York, NY (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- Society of Voice Arts and Sciences™ Announces the 3rd Annual Voice Arts® Awards Opening of Award Entries
The 3rd Annual Voice Arts® Awards, presented by the Society of Voice Arts And Sciences™ (SOVAS™), is an award competition for the voice actors, producers, casting directors, audio engineers, creative directors and others involved in the voice acting industry, to each enter their work for award consideration in their respective categories. Enter at: http://www.VoiceArts.org. The Early Bird entry Deadline is June 30, 2016. The Voice Arts® Awards is the only major award competition dedicated to honoring and acknowledging all those who create and sustain excellence in projects where voice acting is a key factor in the final creative. That covers just about every type of digital entertainment, advertising and informational video project! Good Morning America calls the Voice Arts® Awards “The Oscars® of voiceover acting.” Of course, voice acting is only one of several critical elements in a creative collaboration between content creators, marketers, directors, writers, audio engineers, and others responsible for voice industry projects. These professions also have a critical voice in the entertainment industry and the Voice Arts® Awards provides categories for these professionals to enter their work on their own merit. We all have a voice!
NEW ELEMENTS OF THE Voice Arts® Awards CEREMONY THIS YEAR:
- Expanded Award Categories including Automobile Advertising (TV, Radio and Web); Japanese Language (Commercial and Animation); Radio Imaging (Demos & On-air Production); Outstanding Body Of Work (Tribute); Expanded Spanish language categories**
- Continuing the tradition of honoring the highest achievement in the field, SOVAS will again honor notable talent with the Voice Arts® Icon Award (to be announced). This award was received by James Earl Jones and William Shatner in 2014 and 2015, respectively. SOVAS™, in partnership with the Muhammad Ali Center, has now created a new acknowledgement: the Muhammad Ali Voice of Humanity Honor. This honor will go to an individual whose voice, through humanitarianism, activism or personal sacrifice, has made a decidedly positive impact on our national or global condition as a society.
- The Muhammad Ali Center is an honorary sponsor of SOVAS™ and SOVAS will be encouraging donations on the Center’s behalf.
- New categories as follows:
