Versiant's LYNX Appointment System Selected by GCT Canada

With a long-established truck reservation system, GCT Canada has selected Versiant’s Lynx Customer Service Portal (CSP) and its new Appointment Module to support the company’s ongoing drive to improve customer service and achieve even higher terminal and gate efficiencies.
The new Appointment Module in Versiant’s CSP has several unique features setting it apart from other vendors. Truck users can select multiple containers or “Mass Appointments”, setting dates and times prior to visiting the terminal, allowing the system to automatically book appointments that most closely meet the criteria. When appointments are unavailable for a specific vessel, the “Standby” feature allows automatic assignment of the next available appointment when in queue.
Versiant’s CSP has other modules that promote data sharing for terminal customers by allowing them to obtain real-time cargo availability information, identify pending issues, generate reports and EIRs, pay charges online, support guarantees, send pre-advise notifications, along with other functionality.
