Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Offers "Summer Of Fairways And Fun" Through Labor Day
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- Myrtle Beach Golf Trips' “Summer Of Fairways and Fun” offers flexible tee times and deep discounts through Labor Day, making it easy to integrate golf into any family vacation to the Myrtle Beach area.
By booking through Myrtle Beach Golf Trips, golfers will be offered specials like “Time for Nine,” and “Twilight Tee Times,” or they can book two 18-rounds of golf and get five dollars off each round. Golfers can even introduce their children to the game by taking advantage of the “Kids Play Free” program. Rules vary by course, but most courses allow children 16 and younger to play for free with a paying adult.
“Twilight Tee Times” offers the lowest pricing, starting at $25. Available from 4:30 p.m. until dark, it gives golfers the chance to get in 18 holes after a day at the beach or at any of Myrtle Beach's myriad of attractions. The “Time for Nine” allows golfers to play nine holes at any time of day. They can get in a round early in the morning, freeing up the rest of the day for family time or squeeze in a round later in the evening, as the air and activities cool down for the day. There are also specials on pro shop merchandise all summer.
“No one will be left out when you mix the best of golf with the thrill of all the Myrtle Beach area has to offer,” said Steve Mays, director of marketing and sales for Myrtle Beach Golf Trips. “From water and amusement parks to infinite dining options, golfers and their families will never run out of things to do. Add in some amazing golf courses and a day at the beach, and families are bound to have an unforgettable vacation.”
“Summer of Fairways and Fun” is available at select courses ranging from the north end of the strand to the southernmost tip. Courses include Pine Lakes Country Club, TPC Myrtle Beach, Myrtlewood Golf Club, and many more.
Pine Lakes Country Club is known as “The Grandaddy,” named for starting it all in what is now widely recognized as the “Golf Capital of the World,” the Myrtle Beach area. Nestled in the heart of Myrtle Beach, it was built on natural dunes less than half a mile from the ocean.
TPC Myrtle Beach is the only course on the Grand Stand to have been awarded 5 stars by Golf Digest. The TOUR-caliber course has been taken on by golf greats like Tom Watson, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Raymond Floyd. Golfers there can now “surf the earth” at TPC on the GolfBoard, an easy-to-ride, one-person vehicle that carries the golf bag and adds a fun experience similar to surfing to a round of golf.
Myrtlewood Golf Club offers two different tests of golf along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. The PineHills golf course demands precision shotmaking amid skillful use of mounding and strategically placed water hazards. The Palmetto golf course has wide fairways and is consistently ranked as one of the top repeat-play courses along the Grand Strand.
