Prophetess Dorothy J Davis, a Christian, and devoted writer and author, has completed her new book “Raining in the Dark”: a gripping and potent journey of faith, love, courage and acceptance.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Prophetess Dorothy J Davis’s strong memoir is a reflective look into the author’s life without and with Jesus.
Davis explains by saying, “My title is Prophet in dreams and visions and discernment to know things before they happen. Also my title is Apostlelady. An Apostle is someone that has literally seen Jesus Christ.”
Dorothy first saw Jesus in 1977. When after rededicating her life to Christ and getting refilled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, there was an old worker of the Church that told her there was no point of her even coming to church and she went home for a while and had a vision that she was in hell and there was no way out. Then Dorothy saw Jesus in a white robe lit up like the glow of a light bulb. He reached his hands down to help lift her out. In 1981 she had another vision. He came to her home and told her that everything was going to be alright. She went back to that same church and got the victory over that old worker. The third time she saw Jesus was in 2007 near her bedroom window in a crucified position. In 2010 she was ordained as an apostle. An apostle is able to help establish churches and ministries, to teach, to train leaders, counsel from the bible. To operate in all gifts of the Spirit of God.
