Boston, MA (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- Hersha Hospitality Management (HHM) has appointed Kathleen Flanary as the new general manager at The Boxer Boston Hotel. Ms. Flanary, a seasoned Boston-based hotelier, will elevate the local flavor within the hotel integrating neighborhood history, art, culinary traditions and even some political allusions into the guest experience. In tribute to the region that raised her, Ms. Flanary will continue to infuse local culture into The Boxer Boston Hotel and Finch restaurant. With three years of service at The Boxer Boston Hotel, Flanary brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience at the hotel, as well as rich experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in Boston.

Prior to joining HHM, Ms. Flanary worked for the Langham Hospitality Group and Marriott in Boston. Ms. Flanary is a graduate of Newbury College in Brookline, MA with a bachelor of science in Hotel, Restaurant and Service Management from the Roger A. Saunders School of Hotel & Restaurant Management. She has received certifications in resort management, front office operations, planning and control for food and beverage operations, and leadership and management in the hospitality industry.
