Our customers seek choices, value, convenience and a unique shopping experience, which DXL stores offer. Before DXL, these guys were relegated to shopping at the end of the rack in department stores

Destination XL Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DXLG), the leading retailer of men's XL apparel, has opened a new store in Katy, TX, on 24600 Katy Freeway in The Shoppes at Parkwest Shopping Center. The new DXL store is a one-stop shop catering to the clothing needs and lifestyles of men in Texas who wear waist size 38+ and size XL and up.

Finding quality clothing that fits right and looks great has always been a challenge for guys who wear XL sizes. Until now, they were forced to shop at department stores, searching at the end of the rack for something in their size, and usually walking out feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. At DXL, they’ll experience the exact opposite – they will find the brands they love, the styles and selection they want, in the sizes they need. And the store environment is built just for men, with a more spacious and masculine atmosphere, and one-on-one service from clothing and fit experts.

Some of the DXL store’s unique, innovative characteristics include:

  • Styles from over 100 brands and top designers such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Michael Kors and Lucky Brand Jeans.
  • Brands exclusive to DXL in XL sizes like Twenty-Eight Degrees, Society of One, DKNY Jeans, True Religion and Brooks Brothers.
  • Today’s most current looks from top-quality brand names, at affordable values.
  • Personalized assistance to help guys find their perfect style and fit, plus on-site tailoring services.
  • Sizes starting at 38” waist or XL including tall sizes, plus extended shoe sizes.

And the new Katy DXL is one of only a select group of DXL stores that will carry the Latin-inspired designs of Cubavera, an innovative designer that puts a new twist on traditional styling – taking cool, relaxed looks and amping them up with colorful appeal and unique detailing.

Customers can access an even greater selection of brands and styles at DestinationXL.com, where they can order directly from their computer, smart phone or tablet. They can also verify if a product is in stock at their local store or select to have online purchases shipped to a local DXL store for free.

The Katy store joins the 16 other DXL stores in Texas, and it is the 175th DXL location now open across 42 states. “The DXL store was built with the bigger guy in mind and directly addresses needs he's expressed through customer feedback and focus groups." says David Levin, President and CEO of DXLG. "Our customers seek choices, value, convenience and a unique shopping experience, which DXL stores offer. Before DXL, these guys were relegated to shopping at the end of the rack in department stores.”
