Millennial Governmental Affairs Joins the Nancy Smith for Sunnyvale City Council Seat #6 Campaign
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2016 -- Millennial Governmental Affairs (“MGA”) is pleased to officially join the Nancy Smith for Sunnyvale Campaign Team. “I'm happy to announce my partnership with MGA for my run for City Council for Sunnyvale in 2016.” says Nancy Smith, candidate for Sunnyvale City Council Seat #6 in 2016. “When I look at our Sunnyvale, I see a well-run city, but I hear a lot of frustration because of regional issues. Our council needs to hear from all kinds of people who care about more than just their own interests. MGA will help me share my journey to encourage more Millennials to engage in shaping our community. MGA can bring me out of my shell. I'm ready. Let's do this!”
Nancy Smith works as a program manager where she oversees IT budgets at NVIDIA Corp, the world leader in visual computing technologies. She served on nonprofit boards and eventually shifted her focus to serving the community on boards and commissions. During her term as chair of the Santa Clara County Water District Environmental and Water Resources Committee, she set up an innovative system of independent working groups to enable commissioners to explore policy issues and community concerns. Building on the desire to engage more millennials in the political process, Millennial Governmental Affairs will be focusing on press, and digital media across multiple platforms to boost Smith’s name ID to a broad spectrum of voters. Millennial Governmental Affairs will also take part in fundraising efforts in their millennial network. “We are happy to be on board with #TeamNancy,” said Brent D. Page, the Managing Partner, from his Los Angeles Office. “Nancy is committed and has a comprehensive plan to make Sunnyvale the jewel of Silicon Valley again!”
