Company’s Practices Awarded for Third Time This Year

For the third time in as many months, Fort Worth-based Inspirus has been named to a “2016 Best Workplaces” list. First came the Best Companies to Work for in Texas, followed by the nation’s 50 Best Workplaces for Giving Back. Today, IDG’s Computerworld announces Inspirus as one of the 2016 Best Places to Work in IT, ranking it No. 25 among organizations with fewer than 1,000 employees.

This year marks Inspirus’ debut on this annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals. The recognized organizations, which challenge their IT staffs while providing great benefits and compensation, will be included in coverage in Computerworld along with results from the 23rd annual Best Places to Work in IT survey.

"The organizations on this year’s Best Places to Work in IT list excel at creating a dynamic and satisfying IT work environment,” says Scot Finnie, editor in chief of Computerworld. “In a competitive market for tech talent, these outstanding employers are able to attract highly skilled IT pros by offering great benefits, new learning opportunities, access to cutting-edge technologies and challenging, business-critical projects.”

The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.

“It all boils down to teamwork,” notes Tim Hough, senior vice president, Solutions, at Inspirus. “Every single person here will do anything they can to help the person next to them be successful. We like to say we win as a team and we lose as a team. This award is an indicator of how we like to win as a team.”

Inspirus builds and markets employee engagement and recognition tools that help companies motivate their employees. The company’s own employees likewise enjoy a corporate culture where they feel valued, connected and empowered. Employee programs include team-building challenges, flexible schedules, wellness programs, educational seminars and workshops, and reimbursement for technology certifications, to name only a few.

Inspirus practices what it preaches, creating a positive and rewarding workplace focused on the same vision statement that it promotes to its clients: “Bring Joy to Work, One Experience at a Time.”
