Verla Boyd, a first time author, has completed her new book “A Mouse in the House”: a clever and entertaining children’s book about a mouse that cannot be found in the house.

Vera Boyd lives on a small farm with her husband, and recently saw a mouse in the kitchen (not uncommon). This inspired her to write this story for her only granddaughter, Sadie, who is now seven years old.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Verla Boyd’s exciting tale allows the reader to search for the mouse on the pages of the book along with the characters in the story.

This book is a cute little story about a mouse in the house that the wife does not like. She urged her husband to get rid of it, which he finally does. The illustrations allow the reader to be very liberal with ad lib comments as they read the story and encourage them to look for the mouse concealed in the illustrations. Have fun!

Readers who wish to experience this exciting work can purchase “A Mouse in the House” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
