Thermostrip® DS is a single use, irreversible, color changing indicator strip that tests the temperature of the water in your dishwasher, providing evidence of attained temperature.

LCR Hallcrest has just released for sale Thermostrip DS, a new single use, irreversible, color changing indicator strip that tests the temperature of the water in your dishwasher and is designed to be dated, initialed and affixed to the wash batch record. Slotted strips ensure that the indicator is secured on to a utensil or tray, reducing the risk of the strip falling off during a wash cycle, yet easily removed and attached to the batch record. Using Thermostrip® DS in a dishwasher with each wash cycle will indicate that the proper sanitation temperature has been reached.

Scott Szafraniec, National Sales Manager for LCR Hallcrest, comments “that Thermostrip DS expands our presence in the ware washing disinfection markets, where Thermostrip DL dishwasher disinfection labels lead the market and are available through resellers, private label and distribution channels. This new strip will enable our partners to grow their sales in the disposable thermometer market segment and assist their partners with USDA Food Code Compliance efforts.”

Thermostrip DS is a highly accurate, ±3⁰F, 4” x 0.50” color change temperature indicator available in 160 or 180ºF that when exposed to heat, will permanently change color from blue-black to orange indicating attained temperature. It is waterproof for use in dishwashers, attaches to a utensil or tray and provides proof for HACCP compliance.

Thermostrip DS is now available for Private Label / OEM and Reseller channels.
