2016 Salary Survey of College Graduates and Interns

Compensation Resources, Inc. (CRI) is pleased to announce that results have been published for the 2016 Salary Survey of College Graduates and Interns, now in its 12th year of publication. Participants included companies from all industry classification, covering both for-profit and not-for-profit. There were 111 organizations that participated in this year's study.

The current study has been streamlined to report compensation data for recent college graduates and college interns in the most prevalent majors, such as Business and Finance, Computer Sciences, and Engineering. In addition, the current survey was enhanced to include starting salaries for key positions being hired by many organizations, some of which include Accountants, Computer Systems Analysts, Financial Analysts, and Marketing Specialists.

Turnover continues to be very low among college graduates hired by responding companies in the past three (3) years, with the majority of respondents in 2014, 2015, and 2016 indicating turnover among these new hires of less than 15%. Similarly, interns continue to go onto regular employment at a rate of more than two-thirds over the past three reporting periods.
