New WORX 2.5-amp Oscillating Multi-tool Brings Affordability to Tackling a Myriad of Home Projects

Weighing only 3.2 lbs., the handy multi-tool features a variable speed dial to set the oscillating speed, according to the accessory being used and job at hand. Variable oscillating speeds range from 11,000 to 20,000 OPM (oscillations per minute), and the tool’s oscillating angle is 3.2 degrees.
Higher oscillating speeds are best for cutting, sawing, sanding, rasping and polishing metal and stone. Lower speeds are used for scraping old paint, hardened adhesives and caulk.
With an end-cut blade attached, the WORX 2.5-amp oscillating tool can quickly trim doorjambs or cut PVC and metal pipe to length. Switch to a carbide grit semicircular blade to grind grout from between floor or wall tiles.
Clamp on a scraper blade to remove blistered paint, take rust to bare metal or scrape hardened caulk or adhesives. Triangular sanding pads and sanding sheets are great for sanding in corners and tight spaces.
To help keep the work area clean, the WORX 2.5-amp oscillating tool is equipped with built-in dust extraction to connect with a 1 ½ or 2-inch (with adapter) vacuum hose.
The oscillating tool comes with a 1-3/8 inch standard wood end-cut blade, sanding pad, three sanding sheets, two-piece dust extraction adapter and Allen key.
