(PRWEB) June 24, 2016 -- Venture Construction Group (VCG) sponsors Luke’s Wings 5th Annual Heroes Pro-Am Heroes Golf Classic Tournament held on June 20th at the Woodmont Country Club at 1201 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland, 20852. The event raised funds for local charity, Luke’s Wings, an organization dedicated to helping service members that have been wounded in battle and their families. Venture Construction Group is a 2016 Silver Hole Sponsor. Luke’s Wings provides families with the means to visit wounded service members during their hospital recovery.
The 2016 Heroes Pro-Am Heroes Golf Classic Tournament was attended by more than 100 individuals. What was unique about this year’s event is that PGA pros attended the event. Each attendee received a chance to have a one-on-one clinic with the pros before the start of the event, learning the tricks of acing the best possible score. At the end of the tournament, PGA pro, Charlie Hoffman, shared insights about the golf industry and held a question and answer section. Seven of the beneficiaries of Luke’s Wings also had the opportunity to attend the event.
